Cooking with Chef: A Virtual Cooking Class


Veracity Solutions is joining forces with Chef Software, Amazon Web Services, and EVT to raise funds for World Central Kitchen (WCK), an organization that has been feeding people in need for 10 years throughout the world. For every attendee of this virtual cooking class, we will donate $20 to WCK.

Helping those in need
The pandemic has had negative economic impacts across the world, resulting in millions of people suffering from food insecurities. In fact, the United Nations estimates that an additional 130 million people will be affected by severe hunger, bringing the worldwide total to 270 million this year alone.

Meet the Chefs
Professional Chef Alex Marek from FeedMe Hospitality in the greater Seattle area will be teaching Chef Software’s Jody Wolfborn how to make a fantastic three-course meal, and we invite you to follow along so you can make this meal at home.

Lay out your mise en place and make this meal along with our chefs. These ingredients can be delivered to your home from Amazon Fresh, so be sure and order them in advance. We will provide written instructions to cook the meal after the virtual event.

Summer Salad

  • 5oz baby spring mix
  • 3oz Brianna’s balsamic dressing
  • ½ container of raspberries (washed and dried)
  • ½ container of blackberries (washed and dried)
  • ½ container of blueberries (washed and dried)
  • 2oz pistachios (no shell roasted and salted)
  • ½ container boursin cheese crumbled
Surf ‘n Turf Dinner
  • 8oz flat iron steak (1 steak feeds 1 adult or 2 children)
  • 2T canola oil
  • 1T Salt
  • 1T pepper
  • ½ onion diced
  • 1T garlic
  • Fresh herbs (optional)
  • 4T butter
  • 12oz shrimp (raw jumbo easy peel tail on)
  • 1oz garlic
  • 4oz white wine
  • ½ onion diced
  • 1 lemon cut in half
  • 8T butter
  • 1t salt
  • 1t pepper


  • 2 bunches asparagus
  • 2T butter (cut into small cubes)
  • 1T garlic
  • 1T canola oil
  • 1T salt
  • 1T pepper
Mashed Potatoes
  • 1c cream
  • 8T butter
  • ½ container boursin
  • 3T salt
  • 4T garlic
  • 3lbs gold potatoes (rinsed and cut into half inch cubes)
  • 1gallon water

Berries & Cream Topped Angel Food Cake

  • 1 container of Angel Food Cake/Pound Cake


  • ½ container of raspberries (washed and dried)
  • ½ container of blackberries (washed and dried)
  • ½ container of blueberries (washed and dried)
  • 1 peach (cut into ½ inch cubes)
  • 1 nectarine (cut into ½ inch cubes)
Whipped Cream
  • 2c heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 1T vanilla extract (optional)
